Yes it's a TNT movie site, but it does offer several helpful teaching materials. Click to enter the site and then select "Teachers and Students." You can read "All about Orwell," learn about the historical backdrop for the book, analyze the major themes, and more. The "Other Resources" lists sites that will help students understand the historical characters who inform the novel. Mostly essays with a few recommended sites and suggested books.
