Best Ideas offers plenty of support and guidance to educators just beginning to use computers in the classroom, but it also offers powerful new ideas and advice on emerging applications that will appeal to more advanced computer educators.
Great Debate of 2008 Project
Tom Daccord has created the "Great Debate of 2008" project, an exploration and discussion of issues and candidates surrounding the 2008 presidential election. The project represents a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with other students around the country in a private online social network to share information and ideas related to the 2008 presidential election.
"Your examples showed how we can maximize student participation in every class activity, and thus have them take ownership of their own learning."
