Textbook Companion Web Sites
Over the last few years several of the best known textbook publishers have created online companion web sites to their textbooks. Many of these companion sites contain an impressive amount of technology tools and materials such as PowerPoint presentations, primary sources, interactive maps, interactive tests and quizzes, essay questions, bulletin boards, chat rooms, and more. Even if you don't use these textbooks you may well find many uses for their companion sites. Some companion web sites (or parts of them) are restricted to those who purchase the textbook, but many are available to everyone. A few of the best ones are listed below:
The World’s History
